In his last role as Operations Director, working with Private Equity partners, he was responsible for 950 employees spread over operations in Virginia, W Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland and New Jersey.
Bob and his wife Debbie chose to start their retirement in Idaho Falls to be nearer to their parents and their youngest grandsons. An avid golfer, Bob was surprised that there were no indoor golf facilities in Idaho Falls. After doing some market research he determined that he could make this idea work and in November of 2019 opened Bob’s Indoor Golf (BIG). After 5 years of solid growth, Bob sold the business to two partners, one of which was a customer and the other an employee.
Long believing that the disparity of wealth in our Country is one of the greatest threats to our way of life, Bob has started a charity that focuses on identifying and helping those individuals and families that are barely surviving, and through education, aid, and mentoring, help them to thrive.

EmmaLee Robinson has been working in the financial services industry for over 24 years. She has worked nationally as a strategic planner who focuses on business, estate and succession planning for entrepreneurs and families. Her emphasis is on educating, organizing, and preparing her clients on the latest wealth preservation and business planning concepts, tactics, and strategies.
EmmaLee has three children: Abigail, Jared, and Curtis. Her family loves to ski, bike, golf, and travel together. Their family moved from the Washington DC area eight years ago. EmmaLee was happy to be able to raise her family in this great community where she grew up. Her parents have lived here since 1975, their whole married life. They have owned several successful businesses and taught her the importance of leaving a positive impact in the communities where she lives and serves. This philosophy of service has helped shape her into the person and business owner that she is today.
Part of the reason for moving back to Idaho was so she could open a State Farm office. One important part of her mission is to be a leading resource for insurance and financial services for her community. She is very passionate about helping and serving people in their hard times.
This passion was noticed by NAIFA, an insurance and financial advisors’ organization, and they have asked her to represent the state of Idaho as their grassroots chair. She was later asked to join their national committee representing Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. She has been an essential part in getting several bills passes in Idaho and asked to help with things on a national level. She has also served on the board for Love the Wild an organization that helps educate children in the importance of our earth and wildlife. They have donated many books to classrooms and school libraries. In December of 2019, she joined the White Pine Charter School Board and was also appointed to be chairman. Through her work and many committee experiences, she has developed strong leadership, communications, budget, negotiations, innovative direction, creative planning, and analytical skills. Her ability to listen to concerns, manage conflict, and use forward-thinking has been a huge asset to organizations she has represented and served.
At One Thousand & One, our mission is to provide shelter and support to homeless individuals in our community. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.
We offer a variety of programs to help our clients get back on their feet. From job training to mental health counseling, we provide the resources and support necessary to help individuals achieve their goals.
Your donation will help connect Idaho Falls Mentors, with people who can benefit most from their life experience and wisdom.
